Verdacert is a certified translation company serving USCIS filings, court proceedings, university applications, and medical/insurance documentation, with deep expertise in Arabic, Farsi, Urdu, Dari, Pashto, Turkish, and dozens of other languages. We're hiring an SEO Specialist to grow organic visibility for a business built around fast, trustworthy, USCIS-accepted document translation.

What you'll do

• Own on-page and technical SEO strategy across the site, including metadata, site structure, internal linking, and page speed
• Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities across immigration, legal, academic, and medical translation search terms
• Plan and brief SEO-optimized content in collaboration with writers, editors, or subject-matter experts
• Monitor rankings, organic traffic, and conversion metrics, and report on performance against goals
• Perform technical SEO audits (crawlability, indexation, schema markup, Core Web Vitals) and coordinate fixes with developers
• Build and manage backlink and digital PR strategies to strengthen domain authority

What we're looking for

• 2+ years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally including both technical and content-focused work
• Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and how technical site changes affect search performance
• Strong analytical skills and comfort translating data into clear recommendations
• Experience conducting keyword research and competitive analysis
• Excellent written communication skills for briefing content and reporting on results

Nice to have

• Experience with local SEO or multilingual/international SEO
• Familiarity with SEO in a regulated, compliance-sensitive, or legal/immigration-adjacent industry
• Experience with CMS platforms and basic familiarity with structured data/schema implementation
