Verdacert is a US-based certified translation service specializing in MENA-region languages for immigration, court, university, and medical use, with reviewers working on documents from their home jurisdictions. We're looking for a Legal Polish Translator to join our reviewer network, translating and certifying Polish-language civil and legal documents into English for use in USCIS filings, US courts, universities, and medical settings.

What you'll do

• Translate Polish-language documents (birth certificates, marriage records, court documents, academic transcripts, and similar civil documents) into accurate, certified English
• Review and edit machine-generated first drafts for accuracy, completeness, and faithful transliteration of names, dates, and numbers
• Apply correct Polish civil and legal document conventions, including registry terminology and official formatting
• Sign certification statements attesting to the accuracy and completeness of each translation
• Preserve original document layout and formatting in the final delivered translation
• Meet defined turnaround windows, including rush and same-day requests when scheduled

What we're looking for

• Native or near-native fluency in Polish and English
• Demonstrated experience translating legal, civil, or official documents
• Strong understanding of Polish civil registry and legal document terminology and conventions
• Meticulous attention to detail, especially with names, dates, and numerical data
• Ability to work independently against deadlines and turnaround commitments
• Comfort reviewing AI-generated draft translations and editing them to a certified standard

Nice to have

• Prior experience with certified translation for USCIS, immigration, or court submissions
• Familiarity with certification requirements such as 8 CFR § 103.2(b)(3)
• Experience translating academic transcripts or professional credentials
• Background working with a translation agency or as a freelance certified translator
