Verdacert is a US-based certified translation company specializing in MENA-region languages for immigration, court, university, and medical use, with Hebrew among its supported languages. We're looking for a Legal Hebrew Translator to join our reviewer network, translating civil and legal documents from Hebrew into English and certifying that work to meet USCIS and US court standards.

What you'll do

• Translate legal and civil documents (birth certificates, marriage records, court documents, academic transcripts, and similar records) from Hebrew into English
• Review and edit AI-generated first-draft translations for accuracy, completeness, and faithfulness to the source document
• Apply correct transliteration conventions for Hebrew names, dates, and proper nouns per client filing requirements
• Sign a formal certification statement attesting to the accuracy and completeness of each translation
• Preserve original document layout and formatting in the delivered translation
• Meet turnaround commitments ranging from standard to rush delivery windows

What we're looking for

• Native or near-native fluency in Hebrew and professional fluency in English
• Demonstrated experience translating legal, civil, or official documents
• Strong understanding of Hebrew civil registry, court, and academic document conventions
• Familiarity with certified translation standards and certification statement requirements
• Excellent attention to detail with names, dates, numbers, and transliteration accuracy
• Ability to work independently against defined deadlines

Nice to have

• Prior experience translating for USCIS, immigration, or US court filings
• Experience working with a translation review or reviewer-credentialing process
• Familiarity with Israeli civil documents and their standard formats
