When each one is the right call.
We're not going to tell you The Spanish Group is bad - they have real strengths. Here's how we'd actually advise a buyer choosing between us.
You want what The Spanish Group is genuinely good at.
- A long track record and a large public review base, with the ISO 9001 and ISO 17100 certifications it advertises.
- Notarization at $19.99 for the whole order - less than Verdacert's - and a mailed hard copy by standard mail included.
- Business accounts with volume discounts and monthly invoicing.
You want clear per-page prices, delivery that runs 24/7, or automation.
- Its certified rate is about $29.97/page, delivered in 1-2 business days. Verdacert's Standard is $22.95/page in 48 hours, and Express is $23.95/page in 24 hours.
- Its turnaround counts business days: weekends and federal holidays don't count, and orders after 5pm Pacific start the next business day. Verdacert's clock runs from when we receive your document, evenings and weekends included.
- Its same-day Urgent service is best-effort under its own policies. Verdacert's Rush is a 14-hour deadline that runs 24/7.
- A page is up to about 275 words, with extra words billed. Verdacert counts the pages of the document you upload.
- We found no public documentation for its API. Verdacert's REST API, MCP server and AI SDK are self-serve, with a free sandbox.
What you'd actually pay at Verdacert.
Per-page rates for every source language. The Spanish Group pricing for reference: No 24h tier (~$29.97/page in 1–2 business days), Same business day (Urgent, best effort).
What every Verdacert order includes.
Automation, when you need it.
POST a file. Get a signed certificate back.
A single REST call (POST /v1/orders) submits a document and returns an order ID. Listen for the order.completed webhook, then pull the signed PDF plus its Ed25519 JWS receipt from /v1/orders/:id. Same flow works in the sandbox with zero risk.
Drop into Claude Desktop, Cursor, or a Vercel AI SDK app.
Verdacert publishes a Streamable-HTTP MCP server so agents can quote, order, and verify certified translations as first-class tools. The same surface is available as a typed npm package - @verdacert/ai-sdk-tools - for Vercel AI SDK apps.
Verify offline. No round-trip to the issuer.
Every Verdacert certificate carries an Ed25519-signed JWS receipt that anyone can verify against the public JWKS at verdacert.com/.well-known/jwks.json.
