Junior Project Manager
About the role
Verdacert is a US-based certified translation service specializing in MENA-region languages (Arabic, Farsi, Dari, Pashto, Urdu, Turkish and more) for immigration, court, university, and medical use. We're looking for a Junior Project Manager to help coordinate translation orders from intake through delivery, working closely with reviewers, clients, and internal teams to keep projects on schedule and within scope.
What you'll do
- Track incoming translation orders and coordinate timelines across reviewers and internal teams
- Monitor project status against delivery deadlines (rush, express, and standard turnaround windows) and flag risks early
- Serve as a point of contact for clients or account teams on order status, revisions, and delivery questions
- Maintain accurate records of project details, document counts, and special handling requirements in internal systems
- Support handoffs between translation, review, and quality-check stages
- Assist with reporting on turnaround times, volume, and reviewer capacity
What we're looking for
- 0-2 years of experience in project coordination, operations, or a related administrative role
- Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple deadlines at once
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort working with spreadsheets, project tracking tools, or similar software
- Attention to detail, especially when handling sensitive or time-sensitive documents
- Ability to work independently while following established processes
Nice to have
- Experience in translation, localization, legal services, or immigration-adjacent industries
- Familiarity with project management or ticketing tools
- Exposure to working with distributed or remote teams
