Product Manager
About the role
Verdacert is a certified translation company serving immigration applicants, law firms, universities, and medical providers, specializing in Arabic, Farsi, Urdu, Pashto, Dari, and other MENA-region languages with a network of native-speaker reviewers. We're looking for a Product Manager to help shape the products behind our certified and non-certified translation offerings, from the document upload and quoting experience through delivery of USCIS-ready translations.
What you'll do
- Define and prioritize the product roadmap for our translation ordering, quoting, and delivery workflows
- Partner with engineering and design to ship features that improve speed, accuracy, and reliability for customers submitting time-sensitive documents
- Gather and synthesize feedback from customers, reviewers, and internal teams to identify the highest-impact improvements
- Write clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for engineering handoff
- Track key product metrics (turnaround time, order volume, customer satisfaction) and use data to guide decisions
- Coordinate launches across engineering, support, and operations to ensure smooth rollouts
What we're looking for
- 3+ years of experience in product management, ideally at a company with an operational or service-driven product
- Demonstrated ability to translate customer needs and business goals into a prioritized product roadmap
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience writing specs and working cross-functionally with engineering and design
- Comfort working with data and metrics to inform prioritization and measure impact
- Experience shipping consumer-facing or B2B web products from concept through launch
Nice to have
- Experience with document-heavy, compliance-sensitive, or trust-and-safety products
- Familiarity with translation, localization, or legal/immigration services industries
- Experience working with marketplaces or two-sided workflows involving vendors or reviewers
