Growth Marketing Intern
About the role
Verdacert is a US-based certified translation company working in more than 100 languages, from Arabic, Farsi, Dari, Pashto, Urdu, and Turkish to Spanish and Chinese, for immigration, legal, university, and medical use. We're looking for a Growth Marketing Intern who wants to learn how a small online business finds and keeps its customers. You'll work on analytics, paid search, email, and experiments, and see how each changes the numbers.
About the internship
- Unpaid internship for a fixed term of 4 months, fully remote, open to applicants based in the United States
- Part-time and flexible, around 10 to 15 hours a week, scheduled around your classes or other commitments
- Built around your learning: a weekly one-on-one with a mentor on our team and feedback on everything you make
- We will complete the paperwork for academic credit wherever your school offers it
- You keep a portfolio of published work, and receive a reference letter when you complete the internship
- There is no expectation of a job at the end of the internship
What you will learn and do
- Learn how our funnel works, from first visit to order, and help analyze where people drop off
- Help research keywords, ad copy, and landing pages for our Google Ads campaigns, with every change reviewed before it goes live
- Draft and help test email campaigns to customers and businesses
- Set up simple A/B tests and learn how to tell a real result from noise
- Research partnership opportunities with immigration organizations, universities, and law firms
Who we are looking for
- A current student or recent graduate in marketing, business, economics, statistics, or a related field
- Comfort with numbers and spreadsheets
- Curiosity about why people buy and what changes their minds
- Clear written communication
Nice to have
- Any exposure to Google Analytics, Google Ads, or an email platform
- Basic SQL
- Speaking a second language
