Social Media Manager
About the role
Verdacert is a US-based certified translation company specializing in MENA-region languages — Arabic, Farsi, Dari, Pashto, Urdu, and Turkish — for immigration, legal, university, and medical use. We're looking for a Social Media Manager to build and run our social presence, helping us reach the immigrants, attorneys, and institutions who rely on certified translation.
What you'll do
- Plan, create, and publish content across social platforms to grow brand awareness and audience engagement
- Develop a content calendar aligned with company priorities, including product updates, language and immigration guides, and customer stories
- Write and edit copy, captions, and short-form content tailored to each platform's audience and format
- Monitor performance metrics and report on what's working, adjusting strategy based on data
- Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and monitor brand mentions
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and subject-matter contributors to source accurate, on-brand content
What we're looking for
- 2+ years of experience managing social media accounts for a brand, company, or organization
- Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt tone and voice across platforms
- Familiarity with major social platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, X, TikTok, or similar) and their native content formats
- Experience using social media analytics and scheduling tools
- Comfort working independently, managing a content calendar, and meeting deadlines
- Basic photo/video editing or graphic design skills
Nice to have
- Experience in legal, immigration, translation, or another compliance-conscious industry
- Experience creating short-form video content
- Familiarity with B2B social media strategy in addition to consumer-facing content
