About the role

Verdacert, a certified translation company serving immigration, legal, education, and medical clients, is looking for a Video Editor to help create video content that supports marketing and customer-facing communication. This role will work closely with the marketing team to produce polished, on-brand video assets that explain Verdacert's services and build trust with customers navigating high-stakes document deadlines.

What you'll do

Edit raw footage into polished videos for marketing, social media, and product explainer content
Add motion graphics, titles, subtitles, and captions to improve clarity and accessibility
Color correct and color grade footage for a consistent, professional look across projects
Sync and mix audio, including voiceover, music, and sound effects
Collaborate with marketing and content teams to translate briefs into finished video deliverables
Organize and maintain a library of raw footage, project files, and finished assets

What we're looking for

Proven experience editing video for marketing, social, or brand content
Proficiency with professional editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
Working knowledge of motion graphics tools such as After Effects
Strong eye for pacing, storytelling, and visual consistency
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently
A portfolio or reel demonstrating relevant editing work

Nice to have

Experience creating short-form content for social platforms
Familiarity with captioning and localization workflows for multilingual audiences
Basic motion design or animation skills
