Content Writer
About the role
Verdacert is a certified translation service specializing in USCIS-accepted translations for Arabic, Farsi, Urdu, and dozens of other languages, primarily serving immigrants, attorneys, and institutions with fast, native-speaker-reviewed document translations. We're looking for a Content Writer to help us communicate clearly with the anxious, deadline-driven customers we serve and to support our broader marketing and education efforts.
What you'll do
- Write and edit web copy, landing pages, and product descriptions that explain our certified translation process clearly and accurately
- Produce blog posts and educational content covering immigration filing processes, document requirements, and related topics
- Draft customer-facing emails, status update templates, and help center articles
- Collaborate with the team to ensure content reflects accurate turnaround times, pricing, and certification standards
- Research and fact-check claims related to USCIS requirements and immigration processes before publishing
- Maintain a consistent voice and tone across all customer touchpoints
What we're looking for
- Proven experience writing clear, accurate marketing or educational content, ideally in a regulated, legal, or customer-anxiety-heavy space
- Excellent English writing and editing skills, with strong attention to factual accuracy
- Ability to translate technical or regulatory information into plain, reassuring language
- Comfort working independently, managing multiple content pieces, and meeting deadlines
- A portfolio or writing samples demonstrating range across formats (web copy, blog, email)
Nice to have
- Experience writing about immigration, legal services, or translation industries
- Familiarity with SEO best practices for content writing
- Multilingual background or experience working with translated or localized content
