- Apply correct transliteration conventions for proper nouns, especially for names appearing on immigration forms such as the I-130
- Sign certification statements attesting to the accuracy and completeness of each translation, in line with 8 CFR 103.2(b)(3)
- Preserve the layout and structure of original documents in the translated output
- Meet delivery deadlines ranging from 14 hours to 48 hours depending on order type

- Familiarity with Afghan civil registries, asylum documentation, or military and academic records
- Understanding of certified translation standards and certification statement requirements for USCIS submissions
- Strong attention to detail, especially with names, dates, and numerical data
- Ability to work within tight, defined turnaround windows, including rush and same-day requests
