About Verdacert

Verdacert produces USCIS-certified translations of legal and civil documents across dozens of language pairs, each one reviewed and issued with a signed certification statement attesting that the translation is true, complete and accurate.

The role

We are hiring a Executive Assistant on a full-time, fully remote basis. This is a hands-on role: you will own your area of the work end to end rather than hand it off, and you will see the effect of what you ship on real users. We keep the team small and the feedback loop short, so the distance between having an idea and having it live is measured in days rather than quarters.

What you will do

• Own the day-to-day work of the Executive Assistant function and set its direction
• Work directly with the founder and the rest of the team, with no layers in between
• Decide what to measure, then hold the work to it
• Write down what you learn so the next person does not have to relearn it
• Help shape how this function works as the team grows around it

What we are looking for

• Real experience doing this work, whether or not the job title matched
• Comfort with ambiguity and a bias toward shipping over planning
• Clear written communication, because the team is remote and asynchronous
• Judgment about what matters, and the confidence to leave the rest alone

How we work

Fully remote, and remote for real - there is no office you are expected to drift back to. We care about the work, not the hours it happened in. Every application is read by a person.
