Verdacert is a certified translation service focused on the MENA region and immigration filings, delivering USCIS-accepted translations of documents like birth certificates, marriage records, and transcripts, often within 24-48 hours. We're looking for a Full Stack Engineer to help build and scale the platform that powers document upload, translation workflow, reviewer assignment, and delivery.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and maintain full stack features across our web application, from front-end UI to backend services and data models
• Develop and improve document ingestion and processing flows, including file uploads, format conversion, and quote generation
• Build and maintain APIs that support internal workflows such as reviewer assignment, certification generation, and order status tracking
• Collaborate with product and operations stakeholders to translate business requirements into shipped features
• Write clean, tested, maintainable code and participate in code reviews
• Monitor, debug, and improve system performance, reliability, and security

What we're looking for

• Professional experience building full stack web applications (front end and back end)
• Strong proficiency with a modern JavaScript/TypeScript framework and a backend language/framework of your choice
• Experience designing and consuming REST or GraphQL APIs
• Comfort working with relational databases and writing efficient queries
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and version control workflows
• Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and take ownership of features end to end

Nice to have

• Experience handling file uploads, document processing, or PDF generation
• Experience with encryption at rest and secure handling of sensitive personal data
• Familiarity with building products in a regulated or compliance-sensitive domain
