Verdacert is a certified translation company specializing in USCIS-accepted document translations for Arabic, Farsi, Urdu, Dari, Pashto, Turkish, and 34+ other languages, with a strong focus on the MENA region. We're hiring a Translation Project Manager to own the day-to-day coordination of translation orders from intake through delivery, ensuring every document meets certification standards and turnaround commitments.
What you'll do
- Coordinate the full lifecycle of translation projects, from client upload through native-speaker review to final certified delivery
- Assign documents to appropriate reviewers based on language, dialect, and document type expertise
- Monitor turnaround deadlines across Standard, Express, Rush, and Same-Day service tiers, escalating at-risk orders proactively
- Serve as the point of contact for clients with active orders, providing status updates and resolving delivery issues
- Maintain quality control on certification statements, formatting, and transliteration accuracy before documents are released
- Track reviewer capacity and workload to keep delivery windows realistic and consistently met
What we're looking for
- 2+ years of experience in project management, ideally within translation, localization, or a related language services environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines across different service tiers
- Comfort working with vendor or freelance reviewer networks and coordinating across time zones
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client-facing status updates
- Familiarity with document workflows, file formats (PDF, images), and quality review processes
- Detail-oriented approach to reviewing certification and compliance requirements
Nice to have
- Experience with immigration, legal, or medical document translation workflows
- Familiarity with USCIS filing requirements or certified translation standards
- Proficiency in Arabic, Farsi, Urdu, Pashto, Dari, or another MENA-region language
