As Verdacert's Certification & Notary Coordinator, you'll be a key part of ensuring every finished document meets the standards our customers depend on for immigration filings, court proceedings, university applications, and other official use, including coordinating the notarization and apostille services customers are increasingly requesting.
What you'll do
- Review completed translations and certification statements for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with USCIS and other institutional requirements before release
- Coordinate notarization and apostille requests end-to-end, including tracking documents through third-party notaries or authorities
- Maintain accurate records of reviewer credentials, signed certifications, and document chain-of-custody
- Communicate with customers about order status, notarization timelines, and any document issues that arise
- Partner with translation reviewers to resolve formatting, transliteration, or certification-language questions
- Track and report on turnaround times to help the team meet standard, express, and rush delivery windows
What we're looking for
- Experience in a notary, legal support, document processing, or certification-coordination role
- Strong attention to detail, especially with names, dates, and formatted legal or civil documents
- Comfort working under deadline pressure across multiple concurrent orders
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for customer-facing updates
- Ability to follow strict procedural and compliance requirements accurately and consistently
Nice to have
- Active notary public commission
- Familiarity with USCIS filing requirements or immigration document types
- Experience working with translated or multilingual documents
